Zen Sauna
The signature “Zen Sauna” combines the meditative depth of Japanese Zen with the essential purity of Finnish sauna tradition, set within fully detached sauna cottages scattered throughout the forest. Each structure features a wood-fired stove that gently radiates heat throughout the space, infusing the air with the calming scent of local hinoki cypress. For löyly, pure well water drawn on-site is poured over the stones, releasing soft, enveloping steam that facilitates a deep meditative state. The open-air cool-down phase takes place amidst pristine alpine air at 700 meters elevation, where the forest becomes an integral part of the sensory experience. In winter, guests can plunge into a 1.5-meter-deep well-fed cold bath before diving directly into powder snow—a rare and invigorating practice that pushes the “totonou” state to its peak. This ritual of fire, water, and wind works in unison to recalibrate both body and mind, offering a rare opportunity for profound inner alignment through Zen-infused wellness.

禅サウナ
